Kia Ora my name is Julia Deihl, I am of Māori and Pākehā descent. I Whakapapa to Ngāti Manapoto, which is in the King Country, my father was Māori and he was raised in Kawhia, my mother was Pākehā. I was brought up in South Auckland, along with my four sisters. I hold a Bachelor of Applied counselling from MIT (Te Pukenga). You can read a bit more about my study journey here.
I have my provisional membership with NZAC (New Zealand Association of Counsellors) and am working toward full accreditation.
I offer counselling to individuals, couples and Whānau, and have experience counselling a wide range of people from tamariki and rangatahi through to adults, across diverse cultural backgrounds.
When I am not counselling, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, baking, the beach, and being a Les Mills BodyCombat Fitness instructor.
I live in Ardmore, with my husband Rich, our two children, six chickens, and a swedish vallhund named Running Bear.
