Person-Centred Therapy
A non-judgmental and accepting approach where you to explore your own thoughts and feelings, to find your own solutions.
A Person-Centred approach is a type of talk therapy, and I would describe PCT as an approach that underpins all of my therapeutic work. My aim is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can talk about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. You are an active participant in the therapeutic process.
There are three core conditions to being person-centred
Unconditional positive regard
Congruence
Empathy
is a non-judgmental and accepting approach and focuses on your own strengths and resources. I will not tell you what to do or how to think because you are the expert within your own life. Instead, I will awhi you, as you explore your own thoughts and feelings.
